Joe Dumars emerged as a star in 1989-90, averaging 27.3 points per game in the playoffs and leading Detroit to a 4-0 sweep over the Lakers for the Pistons' first NBA Championship. Dumars, who made the NBA All-Defensive First Team that season, won NBA Finals MVP honors. Blue mesh jersey with red and white stripe trim at the neck and arm openings. Red with white stripe side panels. On the front left tail is the "Champion" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "44" and wash instructions on it. Across the front of the jersey is "PISTONS" screen printed in red on white. Below that and on the back of the jersey is the player number "4" screen printed in red on white. Across the back is "DUMARS" screen printed in white. On the top left breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. There is an autograph in black marker rating a 4-5 on the back number of the jersey. Blue mesh shorts with red and white stripe elasticized waistband and white cloth drawstring. Red and white stripe side panels down outseams. On the inside back center of waistband is the "Champion" manufacturer's tag with the shorts size "36" waist and wash instructions on it. Below that are attached three additional manufacturers' tags with "1 Extra Inseam" and "1 Extra Rise" on them. On the bottom right front is the embroidered official NBA logo. The jersey and shorts show game-use. There are several black stains on the lower portion of the shorts' left side panel. The jersey and shorts appear to have no alterations of any kind.
