One of the greatest to play the game, Julius "Dr. J." Erving had led the 76ers to the NBA Championship in 1983. These shoes can be dated to the final game of the 1977 NBA Finals against Portland. Despite Erving's efforts, the Sixers lost the series in this decisive Game 6 against Bill Walton's Trail Blazers. White leather uppers with red trim, white rubber soles, manufactured by Converse Rubber Company. "DR. J" is custom printed on the side of each shoe in red. There is an autograph with the inscription "To Billy" and dated "6/5/77" in blue ball point pen. The signatures rate a 6. The shoes show great game use. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
