The Houston Rockets, winners of the NBA Championship in 1994 and 1995, originally began life as an expansion franchise in 1967 in San Diego. Also named the Rockets, the team played for four seasons in San Diego before moving to Houston prior to the start of the 1971-72 season. Green dureen jersey with yellow, white, and green stripe trim around the neck and arm openings. On the inside left back tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "42" on it. Adjacent to that is an additional manufacturer's tag with wash instructions on it. Across the front of the jersey is "SAN DIEGO" in yellow on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "18" in yellow shadow-edged white tackle twill. Across the back is "WILLIAMS" in yellow on white tackle twill. The jersey shows excellent game-use. The wash instructions tag has been detached on one side. There appear to be no alterations of any kind.
