William Perry gained international notoriety his rookie year in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. As a first round draft pick in the 1985 draft, expectations were high that William would develop into a premier defensive lineman. Not only did he become a Pro Bowl lineman on defense, but in a surprise move, Coach Ditka called on him for help on offense. This jersey is hammered with repair marks. On the front left inside tail of this jersey is the "WILSON" manufacturer's size 48 tag with wash instructions. On the front of the jersey is his player number "72" in navy on orange vinyl lettering. Across the back of the jersey is the player name "PERRY" in navy on orange vinyl lettering applied on a nameplate that is sewn on the jersey. Below that is the player number "72" in navy on orange vinyl lettering. The jersey shows great game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
