Jim Hart quarterbacked the St. Louis Cardinals from 1966 to 1983 and appeared in the Pro Bowl from 1974 to 1976. In his career, he passed for 34,665 yards and 209 touchdowns.
White Riddell "Pac-3" model helmet with red stripe down the middle. On each side of the helmet is the official "NFC Team N" logo sticker in blue and red. The "Riddell" name is on the front white vinyl. On the inside of the helmet are two manufacturers stickers with model information and with safety code specifications. There is an additional sticker inside the helmet marked "HART GAME HELMET PAINT" on it.. The interior of the helmet has foam suspension and brown leather ear pads, grey face mask. There is an autograph and "17" in black marker rating a 9 on the left top side of the helmet. The helmet shows excellent game use. The red center stripe is mostly worn off. There are numerous scratches on the helmet including through the two "N" side stickers. The chin strap is missing. The face mask is detached from the helmet with the mounting bolts missing. Accompanied by a LOA from Jim Hart and an additional LOA from James Spence Authentication.
