Eddie Lopat's lack of a fastball was no impediment, pitching between fastballers Allie Reynolds and Vic Raschi for the Yankees in the late 1940s - mid 1950s, the contrast made Lopat's slow curves even more unhittable. This OAL Brown baseball has been single signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot by Ed Lopat, reading "Steady Eddie Lopat, N.Y. Yankees 1948-1955." Ball is extremely clean with signature and inscription that grade a 9-10. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and an additional certificate.
