The New York Yankees, at one point in the 1978 season were 14 games behind Boston, beat the Red Sox, 5-4 in Fenway Park, in only the second playoff game in American League history. The Yankees went on to beat the LA Dodgers to capture the franchises twenty second world championship. This is a fantastic color photograph of those 1978 Yankees in celebration measuring approximately 29" x 36" which has been professionally matted inside a 34" x 42" frame. The photograph is signed by 18 members of that years' squad including Reggie Jackson, Sparky Lyle, Roy White, Graig Nettles, Willie Randolph, Mickey Rivers, Goose Gossage, Lou Pinella, and Cliff Johnson.
