July 19th, 1977 was the date of the mid-summer classic held in Nettles' familiar field at Yankee Stadium. The third baseman was blossoming in New York, as this would be his second All-Star appearance since joining the Yankees in '73. He had two plate appearances in the game, and left several ball and hit marks on the right and back barrel. His clears are dug into the back and left barrel, with moderate coating of pine tar on the handle. The bat remains un-cracked.
