This jersey was worn by pitchers with a combined total of 811 wins. In the 1980 season it was worn by pitchers Jim Katt (before he was traded on April 30) and Gaylord Perry (after he was acquired on August 14). It was worn in 1981 by pitcher Rick Reuschel, when a black armband was worn on the left sleeve. Grey jersey with blue and white stripe trim around cuffs. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "48" and wash instructions on it. On the inside back collar is an additional manufacturers tag with "Kaat 80 2" in script embroidered in blue. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back of the jersey is the player number "36." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game use. There are stitching holes in the left sleeve from where the 1981 armband was. Aside from the removal of the arm band, the jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind.
