WADE BOGGS landed himself in the Hall of Fame this year in his first year of eligibility. With the Yankees in 1996, he finally earned his long-deserved World Series title, defeating the Atlanta Braves. This bat is a tremendous example of a Wade Boggs game-used bat, with hit marks on nearly all sides of the barrel, and legible ball transfer markings. Black bat rack streaks and Wade's cleat impressions are on the barrel. Heavy pine tar is evident on the upper handle, with tape and pine tar applied in a spiral handle on the lower handle.
