A staple behind the plate for four seasons in New York, JOE GIRARDI helped the Yankees to three World Championships during is tenure there. He also caught David Cone's perfect game on July 18, 1999. This is Joe Girardi's 1997 NY Yankees game-used road knit jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "50." Attached is a white flag tag with material "100% Polyester," and underneath that a white tag with "Girardi 97." Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back is the player number "25" done in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
