Sporting a devastating curve ball, JEFF NELSON was the setup man for ace reliever Mariano Rivera during the Yankees late 1990s run of four World Championships in a five year period. In 1998, Nelson appeared in three of the four World Series games as the Yankees swept the Padres. This is Jeff Nelson's 1998 NY Yankees game-used World Series home knit pinstripe jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "50." Attached is a white patch with "NELSON 98," adjacent to which is a white flag tag with material "100% Polyester," and underneath that another white flag tag with "4" extra length." On the left breast is the "NY" interlocking logo done in blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "43" done in blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the official "1998 World Series" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a letter from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles.
