Originally drafted by the Yankees in 1990, RICKEY LEDEE was called up in 1998 and played on back to back New York Yankees Championship teams. This is Rickey Ledee's 1999 NY Yankees game-issued World Series home knit pinstripe jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "46." Attached is a white flag tag with material "100% Polyester," beneath which is a white patch with "Ledee 99." On the left breast is the "NY" interlocking logo done in blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "17" done in blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the official "1999 World Series" patch. On the left sleeve is a black armband done in elastic felt and a number "5" done in black tackle twill, in memory of Yankees greats Catfish Hunter and Joe DiMaggio who both died in 1999. The jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a letter from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles.
