Replacing a Yankee legend is no easy feat, but when TINO MARTINEZ arrived from Seattle to replace Don Mattingly his clutch hitting secured him a spot in the pantheon of great Yankees. This is Tino Martinez's 1999 NY Yankees game-issued home knit pinstripe jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "46." Attached is a white flag tag with material "100% Polyester," beneath which is a white flag tag with "2" extra length." Adjacent is a white patch with "Martinez-99." On the left breast is the "NY" interlocking logo done in blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "24" done in blue tackle twill. The jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a letter from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles.
