ALFONSO SORIANO signed as a free agent with the New York Yankees in 1998 and played there for the duration of five seasons. During his tenure with the Yankees he hit 98 home runs and 270 RBIs. In 2003 he set the record for most leadoff home runs in a season with 13 long balls. On the inside of the helmet is the manufacturer's size sticker which reads "American Baseball Cap, 7 1/4" There is also an "MLB" hologram logo sticker and a "AMERICAN BASEBALL COMPANY" sticker on the inside. On the front of the helmet is affixed the "NY" interlocking logo done in white plastic. On the top of the bill are number stickers "12" done in white plastic. On the back of the helmet are number stickers "12" done in white and a official "MLB" logo sticker. The helmet shows good game-use with several abrasions and scuff marks. The bat is uncracked. Hit marks pounded into the left back and front of the barrel, with blue and white ball transfer marks. Moto-stick covers the lower handle of this model C243. Man: H&B, Model: C243, Order Period: ca. 2001-03, L: 34.5 in, W: 32.2 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Black/Smith. The bat and helmet are each accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA.
