MARK WOHLERS pitched half a season for the Yankees in 2001, appearing in 31 games and recording a win in the 2001 ALCS. This is Mark Wohlers’ 2001 NY Yankees game-used World Series road knit jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's label with wash instructions. Attached is a white flag tag with size "52" and material "100% Polyester," beneath which is a white flag tag with "2" extra length." Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "39" done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back neck is an American flag patch. On the left sleeve is the official "2001 World Series" patch, below which is a black armband done in elastic felt in memory of the victims of 9/11. On the right sleeve is the official "100 Seasons American League 1901-2001" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
