The Yankees' third round draft pick (1996), NICK JOHNSON spent three seasons in New York. A productive slugger, he has recorded 14 postseason hits and six RBIs, three of which came against Boston in the 2003 ALCS. This is Nick Johnson's 2003 NY Yankees game-used World Series road knit jersey. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's label with wash instructions. Attached is a white flag tag with size "50" and material "100% Polyester," beneath which is a white flag tag with "+2" extra length." Adjacent is a white tag with "2003." Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "36." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. On the back collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. On the left sleeve is the embroidered "Yankees 100th Anniversary" logo patch. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "2003 World Series" logo patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
