Though David Wells had a good regular season, recording 15 wins with 101 strike outs, his 2003 campaign may be remembered for the critical victory his pitching made possible in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Boston Red Sox. Blue wool "59 FIFTY" model cap has a grey underside on the bill and a white canvas headband. On the inside back of the headband is the "New Era" manufacturers tag. To the left of that is the official MLB licensing tag. To the right of the "New Era" tag is an additional manufacturers tag with the cap size "7 1/8" on it. On the outside back of the headband is the embroidered official MLB logo. On the outside left of the headband is an embroidered United States flag patch. On the underside of the bill is "33" in black marker. The hat shows light use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The cap is accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA.
