ALFONSO SORIANO collected five hits with a home run in the 2003 World Series. He played his first five pro seasons with New York, but will probably be best remembered by Yankees' fans as the player that got traded to bring A-Rod to the pinstripes. The blue wool cap has grey underside of the bill and a white canvas headband. On the inside back of the headband is the "New Era" manufacturers tag. To the left of that is the MLB licensing tag. To the right of the "New Era" tag is an additional manufacturers tag with the hat size "7" on it. On the front of the cap is the official Yankees "NY" logo embroidered in white. On the back outside of the headband is the embroidered official MLB logo. On the left outside of the headband is an embroidered United States flag patch. There is a "12" in black marker on the underside of the bill. There is an autograph and "ROY 96" in silver marker rating an 8 on the top side of the bill. The cap shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA and a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
