Joseph Sewell was a Major League infielder for the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees during the 1920s and 30s. He is the record holder for the lowest strikeout rate in Major League Baseball history, striking out on average only once every 63 plate appearances. This is a 1933 Goudey #165 baseball card. The back of the card features eleven small "checkmarks" done in pencil, "CIA A 127703" and "Sep - 6 1933" stamped in black. The ungraded card has a small nick at the top with slightly rounded corners giving it an overall condition of VG.
