One of baseball's premier catchers, Jason Varitek guided the Red Sox pitching staff into the playoffs in 2003 and 2004, and was instrumental in Boston capturing the 2004 World Series.Grey jersey with red stripe trim at cuffs. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag. Below that is an additional manufacturers tag with "33 48 05" on it embroidered in black. Across the front of the jersey is "BOSTON." On the back is the player number "33." Across the back is "VARITEK" on a grey name plate. On the upper left front is the team captain's "C." All lettering and numbering is done in red on black tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
