After being called up and playing one game with the White Sox in 1970, Roe Skidmore went to training camp in 1971, however did not make the club. Light blue flannel jersey with red and white stripe trim around collar and cuffs, brass metal zipper down front. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "44" and wash instructions on it. Below that is "1971 Set 2" in script embroidered in red. On the inside back collar there is an additional manufacturers tag with "Skidmore" in script embroidered in red. Across the front of the jersey is "Chicago" in script in red on white tackle twill and below that "WHITE SOX" in white on red tackle twill. On the back and on the left sleeve is the player number "16" in red on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
