One of the best control pitchers in history, Greg Maddux is won the Cy Young Award in four consecutive seasons (1992-1995). His success has been achieved without one defining or unhittable pitch, but instead with complete command and pinpoint accuracy. In the field, he won a Gold Glove award eleven straight years. Maddux's career highlight was winning the 1995 World Series with the Atlanta Braves. With over 300 career wins and 3,000 career strikeouts, Greg is a definite Hall-of-Famer. On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "42" and wash instructions on it. Attached to that is a flag tag with "SET 2 1990" on it. Below that is an additional tag with "31 90 2 42" embroidered in blue thread. Across the front of the jersey is "CHICAGO" in blue on white tackle twill. Below that on the left is the player number "31" in red on blue on white triple tackle twill. Across the back is "MADDUX" and below that the player number "31," both done in blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the embroidered official "Cubs" logo patch. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "1990 Cubs All-Star Game" logo patch. There is an autograph in black marker rating a 9 on the upper left breast of the jersey. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
