Rose retired from baseball after the 1986 season, but his days with the Reds were not yet over. He served as manager from 1986 to 1988. On the front left inside tail of this jersey is the "RAWLINGS" manufacturer's size 44 tag with wash instructions. Attached to this tag is the "Set 2 1987" flag tag. On the front of the jersey is "CINCINNATI" and his player number 14 in red tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is the player name "ROSE" in red tackle twill applied directly to the jersey. Below that is the player number "14" in red tackle twill. The jersey is autographed on front below the player number in red marker rating a 9.
