Craig Biggio had an exceptional year in 1995. He hit .302 with 22 home runs, and won a Gold Glove award at second base, one of his the four he has garnered in his 17 year career. Through 2004, he had recorded 2,639 hits and was selected to the All-Star Team seven times. An excellent base runner, Biggio led the NL in stolen bases in 1994. Grey jersey with loose stitching on the sleeves where it appears the trim stripes have been removed. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "44" and wash instructions on it. Attached to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "100% POLYESTER" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "HOUSTON" in black on white on black tackle twill with the "Houston Star" logo in white on gold tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is "BIGGIO" in black on white on gold tackle twill on a grey name plate. Below that is the player number "7" in black on white on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the embroidered official "The Original Astrodome" logo patch. On the right sleeve is the embroidered official "MLB 125th Anniversary" logo patch. Below that is the embroidered "Russell" logo. The jersey shows exceptional game use. With the exception of the removed sleeve trim, the jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind.
