Known as "Charlie Hustle," Pete Rose led the Cincinnati Reds to World Series victories before traveling to Philadelphia. In his playing career, Rose became the most prolific hitter in MLB history. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "44" and wash instructions on it. Below that is an additional tag with "79 2" indicating year and set. Inside the back collar is an additional tag with "ROSE" embroidered on it. On the left breast of the jersey is the "Phillies" logo. On the right breast and on the back of the jersey is the player number "14" in burgundy on white tackle twill. Across the back is "ROSE" in burgundy on white tackle twill on a blue name plate. There is an autograph in blue marker rating an 8 below the "ROSE" tag inside the collar. The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
