Roberto Clemente had quite a season in 1971: he won a world title, World Series MVP honors, the NL Babe Ruth award and was selected to his eleventh of twelve All-Star Teams. He produced one of his most spectacular seasons ever for the Pirates, posting numbers in every statistical category consistent with his career averages. The bat is signed on the front barrel in blue pen with inscription that rates a 7. The barrel is loaded with ball and hit marks on all sides. Red rack marks remain on the barrel and handle.
