At age 18 the Brewers could not refuse adding the young, slick-fielding Robin Yount to their lineup. He was the franchise's third overall pick in 1973, ended up playing 20 seasons in Milwaukee. The 1982 and 1989 MVP was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999. This bat is from his first and only season in minor league baseball, with hit marks pounded into the left and front barrel. His name appears on the front barrel in block letters. A light amount of pine tar remains on the handle. His number "19" is written on both ends in blue marker. The model number is stamped into the knob. Man: H&B, Model: K55, Order Date: 1973-74, L: 34.75, W: 32.6 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Standard. The bat is accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA and an additional LOA.
