Vintage typed letter on Los Angeles Dodgers letterhead dated December 12, 1959 and signed in blue ink by Walter O'Malley, President of the Dodgers. Great baseball content regards the Dodgers' move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles and reads in part, "I know how you and many other fans feel, but it is unfortunate that the full story covering the shift of the franchise from New York has not been written...The subject will be given a careful study, as a result of Major League action in Washington recently." The letter shows light wrinkling, a vertical crease on the left and 3 holes on the left side for putting the letter in a binder. Letter was originally folded in three sections for mailing, there are also some album page remnants on the back. Signature grades an 8. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
