Original Boston Red Sox "Road Account" payroll check (#286) in VGEX condition measuring approximately 3" x 8". This check from "Shawmut County Bank" has been made out to Ted Williams in blue felt marker in the amount of one hundred ninety three dollars and sixteen cents on March 5th, 1979. The front of the check is signed by John J. Rogers. Williams endorsed the back of the check in blue ballpoint pen rating a strong 8. There are several bank endorsements on the front and back. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
