Helping the Philadelphia Athletics win three World Series from 1910-1913, HOFer Frank "Home Run" Baker is considered perhaps the finest third baseman in the pre-war era. Baker was given his nickname after his home run heroics in the 1911 World Series, and went on to lead the league in homers for three more consecutive years. This rare Belknap American League baseball is signed in blue ink on the side panel by Frank Baker. The ball shows some spotting, pitting and chipping with some surface loss. Signature grades an overall 7. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
