Wayne Granger was a closer and middle relief pitcher who appeared in 450 games during his nine year major league career in the late 60s through mid 1970s. Offered in this lot is a pair of Waynes' game-used Wilson manufactured black leather spikes. On the tongue of the spikes is "GRAN" written in green marker. Also included are several of Waynes' trophies that he earned as a player including a "MLB Record 35 Saves - Sept. 22, 1970" trophy with ONL ball, a 1969 "National League Record - 85 Games In Relief" trophy with ONL ball, a 1969 "Major League Record - 89 Games In Relief" trophy with ONL ball, a 1969 "Major League Record 90 Relief Appearances" trophy with ONL ball and a 1970 Sporting News "National League Fireman Of The Year Award" plaque. All awards are in VGEX to EX condition.
