Eight members of the 1919 Chicago White Sox including Eddie Cicotte, Claude Williams, Joe Jackson, Happy Felsch, Chick Gandil, Swede Risberg, Buck Weaver and Fred McMullin were all charged with conspiring to fix the outcome of the 1919 Fall Classic against the Cincinnati Reds that was later dubbed the "Black Sox Scandal". This is an original team photograph of the 1919 Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds with a photo inset of the two teams respective managers. The photograph is inside a metal frame giving it an overall dimension of 12" x 14-1/2". There are a few minor creases and a small amount of staining on the bottom of the photo giving it an overall condition of VGEX.
