Mookie Wilson steps up to the plate and hits a slow, bouncing grounder that in any other game would have been a guaranteed out. But this was the World Series where the high pressure caused the slow grounder to roll under Red Sox's first baseman Bill Buckner's legs. Buckner's error, one of the most memorable moments in baseball history, forced the series to a seventh game where the Mets claimed their second World Championship. This is a NRMT condition 24" x 28" photograph capturing that famous event in the 1986 World Series. The photograph has been professionally matted in a 32" x 32" frame and has been signed by 28 members of the 1986 Mets. Signatures include Teufel, Johnson, Gooden, Darling, Strawberry, Hernandez, Carter, Leach. Ojeda, Elster, and Backman. All signatures are in blue marker and rate between an 8 and near perfect 10. Accompanied by an LOA from James Spence Authentication and a Steiner Sports COA.
