On September 6th, 1995, Cal Ripken Jr. played in his 2,131st consecutive baseball game, surpassing Lou Gehrig's record of 2,130, set in 1939. This well-soiled OAL Budig baseball shows great use and was game-used on that record setting day at Camden Yards. Signed in blue ballpoint by Ripken on the side panel below the "Ripken 8 Orioles 2130-2131" logo, signature grades a strong 8. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
