Official Schutt base that was game-used in the 2001 Yankees vs. Diamondbacks World Series. The Diamondbacks won the grueling seven game series with two runs in the ninth inning of Game 7. The base shows heavy use and has been signed across the top in blue marker by Diamondback World Series co-MVPs Randy Johnson (who added "W.S. MVP, Big Unit") and Curt Schilling (who added "WS MVP"). The base has also been signed in blue marker by seven Yankees: Luis Sojo, Paul O'Neill, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada (who added "20"), Roger Clemens, Derek Jeter and Tino Martinez (who added "24"). The signatures grade an overall 7-8. The 2001 World Series logo is emblazoned on the top of the base. There is a "MLB" logo plaque on two sides, a Yankees logo plaque on one side and a Diamondbacks logo plaque on another side. The base has been framed in a 21-½" x 21-½' x 6" case with the Major League hologram affixed to the bottom. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and another from Steiner Sports.
