The 2004 MLB post-season saw perhaps the greatest comeback in the history of professional sports. Down three games to none in the ALCS, the Boston Red Sox stood three short outs from elimination by the New York Yankees. With Mariano Rivera, the game's greatest post-season closer on the mound, Boston somehow rose to the occasion to win the final four games and become the first team in MLB history to comeback from a three games to one deficit to take the league pennant. This Schutt official pitching rubber was used in the Yankee Stadium bullpen mound during the 2004 ALCS. The rubber shows tremendous use and is signed across the top in black marker by Arroyo, Foulke, Martinez, Schilling and Wakefield, all rating between 7 and 8. On the top of the rubber there is an official "MLB" hologram sticker and a "Steiner" hologram logo sticker. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles COA and a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
