Goalie Patrick Roy was drafted fifty-first overall by the Montreal Canadiens at the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, a team he despised as a child growing up in a suburb of the Habs' most dreaded foes, the Quebec Nordiques. In the 2001 season Roy was at the top of his game leading the Avalanche to its second Stanley Cup in franchise history and Roy's fourth along with his third Conn Smythe Trophy. This is a set of Roys' game-used "KOHO" manufactured "REVOLUTION" model blockers circa 1998 NHL season. Also included is a "KOHO" manufactured "Model 500" goalie stick. The middle of the stick has "P.ROY" stamped on in black lettering. The blockers show tremendous game use and are accompanied by a series of game photographs matching the blockers to the blockers offered here in this lot.
