Hespeler manufactured (Model 5500) hockey stick used by "The Great One" during the 1998-99 hockey season. The stick has markings "GRETZKY 55 8", "120-125 STIFF" and "MADE IN CANADA" in English and French. The knob end of the stick has a blue "JACK THE GRIPPER" covering. The blade of the stick has a layer of black tape wrapped around it. There is a signature with the inscription "NYR 98" rating a solid 8 above the blade. The stick shows nice game use with hit marks on the handle and wear on the tape covering the blade. accompanied by an LOA from James Spence Authentication.
