Before the largest crowd ever to see a horse race in the country's history, over 134,000 excited fans watched Secretariat run a 23-second final quarter to win the 99th Kentucky Derby in the track-record time of 1:59 2/5. He ran the race in successively faster quarter mile increments on his way to setting the track record which still stands untouched, an amazing 31 years later. Offered in this lot is a Limited Edition (#157/500) 16" x 20" black & white photograph of Secretariat and rider Ron Turcotte during this famous race. The photo, replica program/betting chart and replica horseshoe/whip have been professionally matted inside a beautiful 27" x 27" frame.
