This wheelchair was used by Tom Cruise in the 1989 film "Born On The Fourth Of July," in which he played a paralyzed Vietnam veteran. Made of blue leather over metal piping, there are several adjusting levers and straps. Beneath the blue padded armrests are the "Everest & Jennings Premier" manufacturer's labels, which are also stamped into the footrests. It has been signed in light blue ink on the seat back "Tom Cruise - 90." Large, bold signature grades a 9. It shows some oxidation on the welded chrome frame piping and soiling on the footrests. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication. This item will be expensive to ship.
