"Gilligan's Island" was an TV sitcom which aired on the CBS network from 1964 to 1967. Early episodes of the show were filmed in black & white with later episodes in filmed in color. The final episode of the show aired on September 4, 1967, with the seven castaways never successfully leaving the island. Under pressure to reverse the threatened cancellation of the show
"Gunsmoke," which aired on Saturday nights, CBS cancelled Gilligan's Island to free air time on Monday nights, despite the sitcom's solid ratings. This Limited Edition (#761/1000) lithograph of the cast of Gilligan's Island measures 11" x 14' and is professionally matted inside a 18" x 21" frame. The lithograph is nicely signed by Tina Louise (Ginger), Russell Johnson (The Professor), Bob Denver (Gilligan) and Dawn Wells (Mary-Ann) in black marker, all rating solid 9s.
