Commonly referred to as "Legal Tenders" because of their stated payment obligation, these notes were issued in ten Series', with this Speelman-White note being issued in the last (1917) Series. Featuring a portrait of Jefferson on the left and the Capitol in the center, these notes are overprinted with a small red scalloped seal on the right. Slightly off-centered to the bottom, grades Crisp Uncirculated.
