Large sized $5 Silver Certificates were issued for five Series, with this Speelman-White note being issued in the fifth (1923) Series. Featuring a portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the center, these unusual notes are often referred to as "Porthole" notes due to the circular design around the portrait. The reverse features The Great Seal of the United States. This rare note is overprinted with a blue seal on the left lower right, blue serial numbers and a blue "5" on the right. Grades Almost Uncirculated.
