Collection of two 12 ounce large silver coins featuring the lovable panda. First is a 3 1/8" diameter coin from Mexico. On one side is a rendition of a panda in relief with "5 Tohui, Aniversario Del Panda, 12 onzas" in raised letters. On the reverse is a rendition of a coin press in relief, with "Casa De Moneda De Mexico, 1987, Plata Pura Ley .999, OM" in raised letters. The second coin measures 3 1/8" in diameter and was produced in China. On one side is a rendition of a panda in relief with "1986" and several designs in raised letters. On the reverse is a rendition of three sailboats in relief with "The International Coin Exposition Hong Kong, 12 oz Ag, 99.9%" and several Chinese characters in raised letters. This coin comes in its original NRMT wood presentation box with Chinese characters on the top. Both coins are in Almost Uncirculated condition.
