Unusual collection of five vintage hood ornaments and mascots, three of which have been mounted to wood bases. There are two unknown winged goddess mascots, a 1984 sculpture based on an old art deco type goddess, a framed double tail light display featuring the 1964 Chrysler Imperial emblem and one unknown (possibly Buick). They show varying degrees of tarnishing and pitting, which is the main aging condition of hard chrome. Chrome is generally plated over steel, but needs oxygen to retain its brightness; when it "pits" it is actually pulling away from its substrate, but can easily be re-plated.
