Collection of two vintage Texaco signs as follows: first, there is a large 30" x 60" white metal gas price sign with red and black lettering, for Fire Chief and Sky Chief gasoline. Sign is double sided, same on both sides except for the prices; on the bottom of both sides in black lettering is "Including Tax." Price numbers are interchangeable and attach with wing nuts beneath the brand. On one side is "60" for Fire Chief and "66" for Sky Chief, on the reverse are "26.9" and "29.9," respectively. There are several pre-drilled holes around the perimeter, and several more for mounting the prices. The sign is in overall EXMT condition with some abrasions, with one side grading an EX and the other EXMT or better. The second sign measures 12" x 18" and reads "Fire Chief Gasoline" in red letters on a white background. There is also a Texaco logo and "Fire Chief" logo hat portrayed in the center of this metal sign, On the lower left is "Made In U.S.A." and on the lower right is "3-4-54," both in black lettering. The sign has pre-drilled holes around the perimeter for mounting and is in EXMT condition with light rust. Both signs date from the 1950s. These items will be expensive to ship.
