This 1916 vintage bowling ball stand measures 39 1/2" tall x 8 " wide x 8" deep. Made of wood, it is painted green near the base and gold with green accents on the top. There is a metal ring at the very top of the cradle where the bowling ball sits. On the front is a large plaque which reads in part, "Brunswick Standard Regulation Bowling Alleys, ABC The Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co." with stamped number "23799" and seven patent dates from 1911-1916. In overall EXMT condition, there are some nicks and chips throughout. The wood on the lower base is unfinished, as it was probably recessed into the floor, and there are several mounting brackets on the back side. Also included is a vintage bowling ball from the same era, it is made of a hardwood known as "lignum vitae." Approximately 9" in diameter, it has two finger holes and some residue remnants. This item will be expensive to ship.
