This is a fully automatic card time recorder, circa 1930s. Housed in a wood frame with hinged door, it measures 15 ½" wide x 10" deep x 39 ½" tall. Behind the hinged door is the clock face, which reads "Rebuilt by Advance Time Recorder Co., New York City, Phone MU6-2429." On the lower half is a slot for the time card, fully adjustable with a six-position lever that combines "Morn'g," "Noon," "In" and "Out." On the lower front right is a lever that stamps the card and rings a bell when depressed. There is a knob on the lower left side that adjusts for day of the week, which shows through a slot on the lower front center. Inside the lower half is a mechanism for adjusting the day and hour stamp, which is accessed by a key (not included), however the encasing panels are removable. There are two locks on the right side which appear to have been installed at a later time, they are not operational but a screw and flange have replaced their functionality. The clock face shows some wear, as does the wooden housing which exhibits some chipping on the back. The clock itself is electric but the pendulum mechanism is not working, although the hands move freely. This item will be expensive to ship.
