Manufactured by the "Yendes Mfg. & Sales Co." from 1932-1934, this vintage baseball arcade game measures 15 1/2" tall x 15" wide x 11 1/2" deep. Housed in green wood on green base, for a penny you could test your baseball skill and purchase a gumball in the process. Dropping a coin in one of five cast iron slots and pushing the handle, the score is shown through a wheel display window on the left. Pulling a lever on the right dispenses a gumball. On the top is a cast iron sign that reads "Reel-O-Ball, Dayton, Ohio, USA." On the front is a cast iron plate that reads "Play Ball," above which is a window (over the coin slots) reading "single, double, triple," etc. There is also a rendition of a baseball player on a cast iron plate that can be unlocked to reveal the coin box. The back wood plate is removable for accessing the mechanism inside. The machine shows some wear with minor chipping, overall EX condition. The machine is not in working order but can easily be repaired. This item will be expensive to ship.
